Glib

adj: fluent in an insincere manner, offhand, casual: readily fluent, often thoughtlessly, superficially, or insincerely so: a glib talker; glib answers: showing little forethought or preparation, lacking depth and substance, marked by ease and fluency in speaking or writing often to the point of being insincere or deceitful 

Politicians need to do more than provide glib answers to difficult questions















Synonyms: easy, superficial, nonchalant, slick commercial; a smooth-tongued hypocrite
